Stabling and Grazing
at
Derbyhill House, Cross o'th Hands.
Situated midway between Belper and Ashbourne 300/400 yards south of the A517
Grazing:
There are just over 5 acres of grazing at Derbyhill House. It is divided into 4 hedged and tree lined fields and an enclosed area for the stable and yard. Each field has its own water supply, watering point and a shady area for the horses in the summer. The land is well drained throughout the year and water logging is not a problem. There is all year turnout and usually plenty of grazing as there are a maximum of 4 horses on the land at any one time. You are welcome to ride or school your horse or pony in the fields.

The Yard and Stable area:
There are 4 stables in the yard, a water supply, hitching rail, storage facilities and the muck heap. The yard has its own electricity supply with outside lighting. The four stables are built of breeze block and wood and each stable has its own light. There is a shelved storage area for each stable and a larger storage shelter along side the stable building for bulkier items. We have two larger stables 15' x 11' and two slightly smaller stables 12' x 12'.
